Snowy was a timid dog before we adopted her. We came across her family while we were house hunting; we could see that the owners did not really take care of their dogs. Snowy was hiding under the shoe cabinet, even as the rest of her siblings cowered in a crowded caged area with a frayed cane hanging on one side.
Not long after we brought her home, we realized something was not right with her behavior, and her abdomen was getting larger. A few months later, she gave birth to seven puppies. Of the five that survived the first week, we kept Ringo and gave the other four puppies away. Both Snowy and Ringo are very much a part of our family, so no matter where we go, we will take them with us.

What a beautiful dog...oh and the pups so sweet...
Wasn't raising the puppies an awesome experience?! Our girl had a litter of four and I just loved every minute of it... and fell in love with every one of them. We kept them all!!
Look at all of those adorable puppies! It's so nice that you saved Snowy!
Such pretty doggies..so sad to read that two of the puppies didn't make it..they are beautiful!!!
Similar thing here too with my parents many years ago, that time I was still a child. A stray female dog kept hanging around in front of our gate, so we decided to keep her. Then we found out she got already pregnant. When she delivered, we kept some of the puppies, gave some away too.
