Things I like to do in the morning...

Daddy told us we would probably have to move to Bangkok soon. Mommy thinks I will not remember the place where I spent the first few months of my life, so she wants to use this as a detailed and lasting chronicle.

Each morning, after breakfast and morning bath, Mommy puts me in my walker to play for a while before nap time. Today I had a new toy; I gripped it tightly so that I would not drop it wherever I roam. I could grasp the beach ball with my left hand and still hold the toy with my right.

I like to look out to the swimming pool. As long as the weather is good, I can look forward to an evening swim after our afternoon stroll. Mommy is afraid I will catch chills, so she will wrap me up in a towel, as soon as we get out of the pool. She has to make sure not to miss out anything, as leaving me alone even for a few seconds nowadays gives me enough time to put myself in danger - toppling out of the bathtub, falling off the bed, you name it!

I like to play with the dogs' food and water bowls. Making a mess is fun! Mommy learned the hard way to put things out of my reach. Snowy likes to be near me, but I respond by pulling her fur... sorry! Ringo is smarter and stays a safe distance away from me most of the time. But she did lick me a few times, while Mommy held on to my straining arms.

Ahhh, quarter past 10, it's nap time!

Lazy Sunday Stroll through the Sheraton

We had to do some exercises to work off the Sunday Brunch, so we decided to head over to the Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket recreation center. Along the way, we met one of the baby elephants.

Balls Up!

Uncle Bob and Andre went mano-a-mano in a game of table tennis, while Janelle and I played billiards.

Fun, Fun, Fun with Mommy

Mommy drove us to meet Uncle Bob and Auntie Lyn at LHCR for the famous Margarita Brunch. Mommy hasn't driven since she was eight months pregnant. I had to sit quietly in the car seat next to her.

There was a lot of food, but nothing much for me: just some bread and mashed vegetables. I practised my orange juggling, but I was not very good at it. After brunch, while Daddy and the Sayers enjoyed their dessert and coffee, Mommy, Janelle and Andre took me to the Kids Club, which was a lot more fun!

LHC @ Sheraton Private Pool Villas

The Sayers became members of the Laguna Holiday Club in 2007. Daddy helped them to straighten out some membership issues in the early days. They also found out that they were fellow Methodists from Singapore, with Pastor Stanley Chua as the connection; the two families have since become good friends.

Uncle Bob and Auntie Lyn own 2 weeks of timeshare at the LHC @ Sheraton Private Pool Villas. Whenever they visit Phuket - several times a year - we will go out for meals and some recreational activities. We are always happy to host visitors from Singapore. By the way, we will be going back to Singapore on July 20th for a week. It will be my first visit "home"...

Moment of Solitude

We all need a quiet moment every now and then. Mommy is usually busy the whole day taking care of us, even on weekends. She needs a break too but the only time she can really sit down by herself and sip a mug of Milo and read the paper or a magazine is when I finally fall asleep at night. Those few minutes are so precious.
