My wooden bird

This is my little pet hen. It always stays in the corner without making a sound. Whenever I play in the living room, I will not forget to give it a hug in the afternoon and sometimes in the evening when daddy is back home. Mommy wonders why I love hugging a wooden bird and not the dogs?

Tezzie said...: A wooden hen!? Isn't it odd the things kids choose to attach to?...my kids literally FOUGHT over who got to play with a wooden cat I once had as a decoration (!)

But, a sweetie she is, indeed...and a beautiful picture to boot. As for hen vs hound...perhaps it's just easier to hug the hen??
