The windy conditions from the day before grounded the HiFlyers Balloon. Besides Andre who had developed a sudden fondness for bowling, we all hoped for more stable conditions, so that we could go up today.
The still crisp morning air that greeted us on the way to Life Park was a good sign...
... and Daddy reassured me that it would be a safe ride, as he would be by my side.
Yea! All cleared for takeoff...
... as the tether was extended, the balloon rose steadily skyward...
We're airborne!

Ahhhh... the balloon is swaying!

I'm afraid of heights, but I think I might be able to do this if I knew the balloon was tied. The photos are beautiful!

Wow...what a fun thing! Was it more quiet and peaceful up there than you had imagined? That's the main impression I took away from a hot air balloon ride I took a long time ago...

Lots of those fly over stockholm in the summertime and I guess they get a great wiew from above. Im not so sure that I would dare going up there though.... Great shots of the trip, thanks for showing!

What fun to go on a hot air balloon and the shots are all great.
I had a chance for one of those hot air balloon rides. It was simply fabulous. But, it didnt really go very high up. The balloon was attached to strong ropes so that it wont fly too high or away from the site.
