Friendly Faces in the Neighbourhood

By day, all over Bangkok we may roam
Come nightfall, to President Park we come home
To chat, to laugh, to share some food
With these dear friends in our neighbourhood
Uncle Bill and Aunty Rebecca introduced us to the Evangelical Church of Bangkok,
where we now worship.
Once in a while, we have dinner at Uncle Chiet and Aunty Yuriko's.
And hang out together when the power is out ;-P
Uncle Chiet works out regularly.
Aunty Yuriko is my favourite,
especially when she pampers me with delicious Japanese snacks.
I have a group of playground buddies.
Every now and then, we have a barbecue.

Aunty Shirin always has a big smile for everyone.
My friend, Lilli, is much bigger than I,
but Aunty Elke is tall and strong enough to carry her.

Good to have a close fellowship with church friends esp when you are away from home.

When i come to Bangkok, I will cook you my black vinegar pig trotter soup, I cooked them so nice that even the Prc friends say they are very good. The only trouble is I have stopped cooking it because the husband complains it is too fatty, same reason i don't do beef tendon.

I really miss all my girl friends in Singapore. Do you?

Nothing better than to be in good company of good friends and family. Despite what's going on in Thailand, I'm glad to see that you have good people by your side.
