Ahhh, the lily ... our day lilies are just starting to bloom ... soon the long drive up to the back of our home will be a show of orange star-like blossoms! They are an intriguing flower!

This is one of my fave lilies. They last so long too! This is a great up close shot.
I hope you pinched off the stamen, otherwise the pollen grains will stain your clothing.
