The Fabric of Life

Both my grandmothers worked as seamstresses. Mommy knows how to sew; it was a part of her training as a fashion designer. Although she has given up her career to raise her children, she still has a passion for art and design. Whenever I take a nap, she will multi-task and edit photos, do drawings, sew/mend clothes while keeping an eye on my cradle...

Is this a singer sewing machine? We have some - my husband's grandmas.

Abbout the knack for art and design, I can see that clearly even from the way the photos are taken. As for sewing clothes, I love to do dressmaking, but now just couldn;t find the time to do it.

My grandmothers had those, too. I wish we had kept them. I think they were given or thrown away. :(

My grandmothers (both of them) had these. I just love how they look. I think my aunts still have them.
