Thanks for coming by Serline! The buck is a male white-tailed deer. They are beautiful, and look gentle and tame, but they are wild and can defend themselves if necessary! It is fun to capture them with a camera, however, as flight at the first sign of danger is their primary defence. This one was unaware of my surreptitious picture taking, thankfully!
