Not to worry, they have been doing this for decades... It was quite a sight, seeing the stall owners make such well-rehearsed adjustments just minutes before the train arrived to get their goods out of harm's way and restore everything as soon as the choo-choo passed. The only "damage" we witnessed during our visit were a few squashed bananas, and more due to the stall owner's slip than the train ;-P
Narelle was a little taken aback by her first close encounter with a train... it certainly left a lasting impression!
I read about the market a while ago. In fact, I've been obsessed with Thailand and Thai culture for a few months. I read in your introduction that there is no star on a city night. I happened to see a movie by Ken and Chris Horwang about the metro in Bangkok yesterday. When they were walking at night, Chris pointed at a light saying it is a star while Ken laughed at her for mistaking the light from a building for a star.
Nice photos! You make my longings to travel to Thailand more acute:)

That looks so strange. I do hope the train doesn't move unexpectedly!

I´m fond of traines and you have a very fine frame. It´s so suitable in monochrome. Have a nice week.
Amazing photo, very good.
I wonder how many accidents a conductor sees in a lifetime. It's got to be incredibly hard.
That's making use of the space!
