This is my 500th post, half way to my personal "Millennium"... whoopee!
New life sprouts in an unexpected place
Evening sun coats these blooms with a gentle glaze
Barely reach the paddles with the tips of my toes
So instead I wave and surely my big smile shows
What a wonderful evening we're having, amidst the sunset glows
