New life sprouts in an unexpected place

Evening sun coats these blooms with a gentle glaze

Barely reach the paddles with the tips of my toes

So instead I wave and surely my big smile shows

What a wonderful evening we're having, amidst the sunset glows

Waiting in the rain

The rain came so suddenly yesterday, just as Mommy and I were on our way to the park for an evening walk. We grabbed an ice cream and waited under a shelter for the rain to stop. Nothing much to do, just watching the people go by....

Before the rain

The colors of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky

I see skies of blue, but clouds turning grey

What's that?

Mommy, can I ride on these?

Looks like it's going to rain soon

Evening walk

On our way to the park, we finally saw the sun after days of gray skies.

Nice sanctuary for walkers, joggers and cyclists, away from the busy road to enjoy some quiet and cool breeze.

Mommy took some bread for the terrapins in the lake, but I ate everything ;-P
