Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Here are a few scenes Mommy captured on our recent trip to China...

1. Pop of Color
Sunset over Jade Dragon Mountain in Lijiang
云南省丽江玉龙雪山

2. Crossing Thresholds
The passage of time was evident at every nook and cranny of West Lake in Hangzhou
浙江省杭州西湖

3. X-Ray
Any guesses what this is? ;-P

4. Toy
There wasn't any toy on the plane for me to play with, so I improvised...

5. Farm
A glimpse of rural China, as we zipped by at over 300km/h on the Hangzhou-Shanghai high speed train
沪杭高铁

These are fantastic. I love the whole set but your pop of color is absolutely brilliant!

Thanks. The colors in that photo were His glorious handiwork, all I did was capture and sharpen a little...

You have an amazing set! The pop of color photo is absolutely beautiful!

I think the X-ray picture is some kind of flower? :)

Overall, you did an awesome job taking the photos!

These pictures are awesome...I'm guessing the x-ray is of an allium? Big showy purple flowers on a stalk? I want to see jade mountain in person!

Stunning! Is that an alium plant?

Ooooooo, these are all lovely, Serline! Number three is an allium bloom, no?

Love that "pop of color"! The mountain looks so graceful and rich with history. Oh, the stories it must hold ...

I love your Crossing Threshold shot!

Wish I could visit Hangzhou again. Last time I was there, I was 11 and didn't really appreciate the trip. :(

I love your threshold shot! The swirls catch your eye and just lead you right in. Thanks for linking in to Exploring with a Camera, sorry I'm late in commenting!
